Henricus Historical Park re-creates the second successful English settlement in the New World. The park is an outdoor living-history museum where visitors interact through “hands-on” encounters with period-dressed historical interpreters of the English settlers and Virginia Indians. The site includes more than a dozen recreated colonial structures where visitors can learn about, and participate in, cooking, blacksmithing, militia drills, planting and harvesting.
Henricus Historical Park is located off I-95 at exit 61-A, at 251 Henricus Park Road, Chester, VA 23836.
The park is open Tuesday-Sunday; 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
Admission fees vary.
